WORKMANSHIP WARRANTY POLICY
“Company” means Wildy Air Conditioning and Electrical Pty Ltd (ACN 601 256 866) trading under the name “Sunny Energy” (ABN 57 229 090 982). “Customer” refers to the person, company or entity to whom the Company has agreed to supply Goods, or any person acting by the Customer’s authority and on the Customer’s behalf. “Goods” means the equipment, products, materials and installation supplied to the Customer by the Company in respect of this Contract.
Sunny Energy guarantee’s all workmanship carried out by Sunny Energy staff for a period of five years from the invoice date.
Sunny Energy uses the highest quality Goods available, and the Goods will be installed in accordance with industry guidelines and all relevant Australian Standards. The applicable primary standards are AS 3000, AS 5033 and AS 4777.
If Goods installed by Sunny Energy fail, we will replace the Goods free of charge for a period of five years from the invoice date. If Goods supplied by us have a longer manufacturer’s warranty, Sunny Energy will disconnect, reconnect and handle warranty claims for the Goods for the life of the manufacturer’s warranty.
Sunny Energy will not be responsible for any of the following:
– Your existing electrical installation, wiring and fuse box.
– Any consequential or other loss incurred by the customer as a result of Goods failure.
– Any customer supplied Goods.
– Any malicious damage, damage caused by abuse, neglect or accident.
– Any damage caused by vermin, animals or pests.
– Any “acts of God”, e.g. lightning, hail, storm or flood damage and damage normally covered by a householder’s property insurance.
If any persons other than a Sunny Energy accredited installer or Sunny Energy authorised person, conducts works on the solar installation at any time, then this warranty is void.
If Sunny Energy is called back to a job and it is deemed an unauthorised person has conducted works on the system, then the full applicable charges apply (relevant call out fee, quarterly rate, materials and machinery). In the event that Sunny Energy ’s workmanship is at fault, then no charge will be applied.
Performance figures given by Sunny Energy to the Customer are given in good faith but are estimates only. The Company has no liability for any loss, cost or damage for failure of the Goods to attain such figures unless specifically guaranteed by the Company in writing. Any such written guarantees will be subject to the recognised tolerances applicable to such figures.
